The HD Series Circular Polarizers are made with the adoption of an exclusive Hoya polarizing film, which improves the passage of light by over 25%. The Hoya HD Series Circular Polarizers "absorb" approximately 2 stops on average, while a Polarizer Circular made with traditional technologies "absorbs" on average over three stops. Hoya HD Filters represent "the state of the art" in the field of photographic filters, and are characterized by: 8-layer anti-reflection treatment on both surfaces of the optical glass.
